John was born and raised in Wichita, where he has resided his entire life. He attended Andover High School in Andover, Kansas graduating with the class of 2012. John then attended Kansas State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences in 2016.
A career in law was always in the back of his mind as he grew up watching his father, Brian, working diligently to help injury victims. John attended law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 2019. While in law school he also worked at the Oklahoma City Public Defenders Office where he gained litigation experience, additionally completing a seminar in American Indian Law. John excelled in coursework involving trial practice, employment discrimination, and administrative law, among others.
In his free time, John supports his Kansas State Wildcats and enjoys participating in most team sports. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and playing with his Saint Bernard, Ranger.
